How To Get Lipstick Off Clothing

Have you ever take your shirt off and got lipstick all over your shirt. Instead of tossing out your shirt or clothing read these steps to see how to get the lipstick out of your clothing before it becomes a stain. Here are a few easy steps to remove lipstick safely from clothing.

Step 1
First remove the clothing that has the lipstick on it. Do not smear or rub the stain if possible.

Step 2
Wet the clothing in warm water. You only need to get the spot with the lipstick damp. You do not need to soak the clothing with water.

Step 3
Rub the soap directly on the lipstick and lather. Dove white bar soap will work the best to get the stain out. However, if you have other white bar soap you can try it.

Step 4
Then rinse in cold water.

Step 5
Put clothing immediately into the washer with detergent and wash in cold water.

If the stain is on the clothing repeat steps
